Dear Jake,

Reducing the waste and overall environmental impact of the construction sectors is extremely important to meet ambitious net zero carbon emission strategies. Therefore, it is important to look at all the materials used to complete building projects.

When doing so, you can rest assured that our IBT range of electrical enclosures can help you meet your sustainability goals, as the products are made of fully recyclable plastic.

More precisely, our housing and enclosures are made of polypropylene (PP) copolymer. We selected this material precisely because it offers great flexibility when it comes to recycling while also addressing the reliability requirements that construction applications require. In effect, our IBT products can withstand temperatures between -25°C and 40°C, are resistant to a variety of harsh chemicals and, when it comes to circularity, they can tolerate four closed loops of either mechanical or chemical recycling.

If you have any additional requirements for your sustainable construction project, please feel free to send me a private message. I’d be happy to discuss with you the specific needs that your enclosure needs to meet.

Kind Regards,

Chris
