I just wanted to know more information about your enclosures and how well they handle extreme heat! Do any of them have adjustable rails?
Thanks for reaching out to us!
At Spelsberg, we know that in addition to the obvious exceptional durability and resistance to extreme heat, businesses looking for fire-resistant electrical enclosure may need a flexible setup. This can accommodate application-specific needs as well as variations in the electrical system. Adjustable mounting rails are one of the features that can contribute to creating a suitable, versatile solution.
As our motto of the Lifeline WKE 2-6 range of fire-rated enclosures is ‘be flexible”, we are well equipped to address these requests. To support customers that require this level of adaptability, our fire-resistant systems are designed with height-adjustable mounting rails that can be set in two different positions. These provide space for installing single or double terminals as well as fuse holders. As a result, the terminal block can be set on the mounting rail in the high position, while the low position is ideal for specific applications, such as D0 (also known as NEOZED) fuse mounting.
In addition, all enclosures from the Lifeline WKE 2-6 series can be quickly, but securely attached by two external, pre-fitted lugs that can be rotated around 90 degrees. The terminal block can also be adapted on the base carrier in 45-degree steps by adjusting a central screw on a sliding bracket. In this way, installers can benefit from high flexibility and ease of installation.
